Simon Teague
Trustee | Finance Director
Area of Ministry:
It was an honour and a privilege to be asked to become a Trustee of Favour House Church, and to work closely with the Pastors through all the steps needed for this new work the Lord has such great plans for. With a financial services background I am pleased to be able to use those skills to oversee the finances of the Church and ensure the good stewardship of Favour House from the outset.
I am passionate about growing the Kingdom of God into areas where our Lord has a grand purpose for peoples lives and I am especially keen to help as many businesses in the location to know the saving grace and sovereign power of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Professional Interests:
The Lord has given me the skills to be a successful Business and Executive Coach. Working with many business owners across Kent and the UK, I am passionate about helping people and organisations to reach their full potential and to thrive. I coach many people from different backgrounds, including young people, business people, expedition teams, corporate teams and other coaches. I am a professional speaker and author and love sharing the good news of Jesus Christ.
Saved:
Having dipped in and out of Church life all my life, the Lord decided enough was enough and dramatically spoke to me in August 2016, in such a way that led to my accepting Jesus Christ as Lord in my life and being baptised. Since then the Lord has been teaching me, leading me and blessing me so greatly. Praise be to Him.
Family:
The Lord has blessed me with two wonderful, beautiful and intelligent daughters of who I am so proud. I am so grateful to God that they are in my life.
Fun Facts:
I’m known by my friends as the Frank Spencer of DIY, so I am really hoping not to get asked to put up any shelves in the new Church!
Other than that I am a keen cyclist having cycled over 10,000 miles on my bike, helping me to keep fit and raise money for various charitable causes.
When it comes to food, I find it hard to resist anything sweet, hence the need to keep fit!
